A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INTERNATIONAL SALES ENGINEER

As an International Sales Engineer, your purpose is to grow the acceptance and use of our engineered systems solutions outside the United States. Working with the regional sales and engineering teams, you assist with the design of commercial and municipal wastewater collection and treatment systems. You interact regularly with our business partners, including distributors, dealers, and suppliers as well as engineers, regulators, community leaders, and other consultants and professionals. You plan, direct, and coordinate with internal and external staff to ensure that company objectives for engineered system projects are met.

You are very comfortable in front of a crowd and you enjoy giving presentations at regional, national, and international conferences. Creating strong relationships with influential stakeholders comes easy to you. Using your impeccable sales skills, you assist customers in determining individualized needs and recommend products appropriately. You advise them regarding equipment installation, usage, repair, and maintenance as well as provide quality customer service in all internal and external interactions. You get a great sense of accomplishment from reaching your goals and help our business grow!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN INTERNATIONAL SALES ENGINEER

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• International sales experience
• 4+ years of experience in the water and wastewater field
• Retain a valid passport and be able to travel internationally
• Spanish language fluency

A professional engineering license is preferred. Other languages would be a plus! Can you stay calm in high-pressure situations? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Are you flexible and adaptable? Do you have great problem-solving and decision-making skills? Are you friendly and able to establish a good rapport with people easily? WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time international position typically works during manufacturing business hours, which may include an occasional early or late shift as needed. This position also travels at least 20% of the time.
